If you are an Objectivist, with a passion for advancing Ayn Rand and Objectivism, please consider submitting an online grant proposal to learn if your request can qualify for support from the Prometheus Foundation.
Grant proposals will be evaluated promptly to ensure that they meet our guidelines. After this initial step, qualified proposals will then be reviewed and prioritized for consideration at the Prometheus Foundation Awards Committee quarterly meeting. We may contact you during the review process with additional questions.
For the current evaluation cycle, awards committee meetings will be held on April 19, 2019; July 12, 2019; October 18, 2019; and January 1, 2020. You will be notified of our decision promptly after the quarterly Awards Committee meeting.
The foundation will accept proposals from Objectivists worldwide and from for-profit and not-for-profit individuals and organizations. Proposals can be for grants or loans. Funding will typically range from $5,000 to $100,000 per year, up to a maximum period of three years. It is possible for a successful project to receive funding beyond the initial three-year period, but preference will be given to proposals that offer a credible plan to become self-sustaining after the initial funding period.
The Prometheus Foundation appreciates all efforts to seek funding but regrets that support can only be offered to a limited number of individuals and organizations. Prometheus Foundation makes grants subject to a zero overhead policy.
